Whether you are already a member at The Quarry, or are just thinking about joining a gym, I know how difficult it can be to take that first step.

I only started weight training in my 50s, with no clue about what to do or how to do it. But working with a Personal Trainer gave me the confidence and know how I needed. Learn more about me here.

Being fit and strong isn’t just about appearance. It’s about continuing to do the things you love, such as playing with grandchildren, hiking, or hoisting your suitcase into an overhead locker on your latest travel adventure.

And it’s about independence - getting up off the loo without help, carrying your shopping and climbing stairs. All the things we take for granted until we don’t have them anymore.

Seeing myself get stronger in the gym and my everyday life was such a boost to my confidence, not to mention the huge benefits to my health. I knew I wanted to help others feel the same.

I’m especially passionate about helping women over 40 get stronger and fitter than ever - and yes it absolutely is possible!
